Wise Buddha
Capital FM- This is aimed towards the ages of 12-30, due to it being modernised by the beat and music cuts in the jingle to show a modern generation that this radio channel with appeal to them.
Absolute radio- This is for a target audience who appeal to rock music, mainly between the ages of 20-50. This would attract rock music lovers by the jingle having a rock montage with the drums and electric guitar.
BBC Radio schedule- Radio 1 and Radio 4
Similarities
- They both have a similar structure due to both schedules having specific times for different sections every day.
- They both talk about the news.
Differences
- Radio 1 include a variety of different radio genres, enjoyable music whereas Radio 4 is all about what going on around the world, news.
- Radio 1 does not air at 00:00 whereas Radio 4 has midnight news.
Radio 1's target audience is for a younger generation from and to around 14-30. Due to them having things such as top charts as well as diverse different music, which would be modern music aimed towards the younger generation. Radio 4's target audience would be around the 40's-80+, due to them wanting t be more aware of the world and wars going on around them and ,music becoming less appealing to them.
Radio ones presenters are Nick Grimshaw, Clara Amfo and Greg James. Radio fours presenters are John Humphrys, Justin Webb, Mishal Husain , Martha Keane and Nick Robinson. Radio ones mode of address is informal, and comedic. There is gossip, interviews with stars and a variety of all different music. Radio fours mode of dress is very informative and factual, its a talk show and informs us about everything going on around the world.
