MOJO Industries and Representations  How many people are in MOJO: Men:311 Female:73 Ethnic minorities:73 Loyal fans are male and so the magazine appeals more to men. This is an unfair representation due to their being way more men than female. As well as that their are may more white people then any other ethnic group. This conforms to the stereotype of white men listening to rock, rather then women. How may different audiences interpret the magazine differently and how may these differences reflect individual and social differences? MOJO Media Language

MOJO Media Language  1.A magazine front cover usually consists of a masthead, the name of the publication, in this example MOJO, they placed MOJO in a clear space on the front page in a bold font in order to increase brand recognition and catch the readers eye. The main image has to be the biggest and most eye catching picture in order to entice the reader into reading the magazine as well as give them an idea of what the magazine is about as well as the genre, in this case is an image of John Lydon, placed on the centre of the magazine to convey who the main focus of the magazine is going to based on, it eyecatches the readers and gives them an idea of what the magazine is going to be based on. The main article has to be the boldest statement on the front cover to show the readers what the main article is going to be about. MOJO A Change In Society

Supports LGBT Dominated by a female Multicultural  Changes in gender roles- the increasing role of women in public life due to the impact of 1970's feminism, changing stereotypes of masculinity and femininity. Changing attitudes to sexuality- the increasingly visible role of LGBT people in public life and acceptance of different of different sexualities.  Multiculturalism- the change from a normatively white and racist society to one characterised by racial and ethnic diversity. Celeb culture- the organisation of popular culture around celebrities- people who are famous for being famous.  Consumerism- the expectation that people should mark out an individual identity by exercising choice in buying goods and services and aspire to higher social status; the dominance of marketing.

MOJO Magazine

MOJO Magazine Mojo, is a serious 'classic rock' magazine that targets an upmarket and mature audience, reflecting the context of the economic power of the 'baby boomer' generation- they were the 1st generation to have disposable income post war. They were able to enjoy music, festivals and concerts. In terms of media industries, MOJO is a good example of diversification.  It is a product with a clear audience address-enagaging the passion of music fans who consider themselves sophisticated-this is reflected in a consistent media language house style.
